The front of the cross features the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, shown in detailed raised relief. Above Christ is the inscription ІНЦІ — “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” Above ІНЦІ is the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, a sacred symbol of divine presence, grace, and peace.
On the horizontal arms of the cross are traditional Christological inscriptions:
